Growing up my mother had boxes and boxes of photographs underneath her bed. She would have my sister and I create collages or albums. She also would set up photoshoots in the house for holiday cards, which I remember being either super fun or stressful. Because of this, I took an interest in photography early in life.
I knew at a young age that it was important to capture all of life's moments. I have been photographing since I was 13 years old. Wherever I went I had a camera, and my friends and I always ended up having a mini photoshoot no matter where we were. When social media became popular, almost all of my friends came to me when they needed a new "profile picture".
In High School, I took photography classes, learned the basics, and really started developing my style. I started coming up with concepts for photos, and began setting up my first real, creative shoots with my friends. On top of that, whenever I was invited somewhere, like a party, I would bring my camera, and developed a reputation as "the red-head with the camera" or "the girl who takes good pictures."
Over the years, from then until now, I've gone from those shoots with friends to shooting weddings, events, family and individual portraits, real estate, musicians and other artists, and much more, while still producing work of my own. I capture both life and make believe.
I've made my passion of photography my full time job; it isn't always easy, but it's always rewarding.
I’d love to capture you and your memories.
